Join us to Crystallize Finnish Cyber Security Research Vision
This is an invitation for industry and research to participate in preparation workshops, with the goal to prepare a new DIGILE SRA in the field of Cyber Security, held in
- 8.4 12-16, VTT Micronova,Tietotie 3, Otaniemi, Espoo
- 9.4 12-16, Lasaretti, Kasarmintie 13, Oulu
- 11.4 12-16, Auditorio 3, Agora, Mattilanniemi 2, Jyväskylä
The purpose of the workshops is to openly discuss, innovate & collect research challenges related to the Finnish research future of Cyber security. The challenges are written in a form of a SRA (Strategic Research Agenda), which describes the research areas where Finland will focus on in the next four years. Everyone's opinion are needed in order that various viewpoints are taken into account and holistic picture of the future is formed. The challenge level of the SRA is high, Finland should aim to the global leadership in the chosen research areas. Furthermore, they should generate revenue for Finnish companies. SRA should also attract international partners. After the SRA writing, different funding instruments are then used to implement the SRA in a coordinated manner.
FISC and INKA are important stakeholders for this SRA and are organizing these workshops together with DIGILE.
The target group of the workshop are industry and research organisations in the cyber security field as well as companies & research in related multidisciplinary areas.
