The advance of neuroscience research over the past several decades provides us with a remarkable opportunity to design and develop flexible and adaptive brain-based neurotechnologies. These will integrate with and capitalize on human capabilities and limitations to improve human-system interactions. In the next decades, “cocktail technologies” will renew the concept of mind and will give birth of brand new world of services. Human brains, human crowds, computing devices, and clouds are forming new cocktails for computation, communication, and cognition. The services leverage sophisticated analyses of the emotional and cognitive states and processes of the people using them, revolutionizing the basic interactions people have, not only with the systems they use, but also with each other.

Come to learn from word-class experts the state-of-the-art and future of this fascinating new world. DIGILE wants to stimulate discussion of the theme to guarantee that Finland will be in the forefront in the business utilization of the vast new potential.
The keynote of the seminar is given by Professor Stuart Kauffman ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuart_Kauffman ).

The link to the program will be found on the right side of this page.

DIGILE Foresight Seminar is free of charge.
However participants who register but do not attend - and do not cancel their registration by November 25th by e-mail (info@digile.fi) - will be charged a no-show fee of 100 € + VAT.
