TIVIT Digital Services Program 2013 Planning Workshop (8/22/2012 12:00 - 16:00)

This is an invitation to one of the two workshops to facilitate the 2013 planning process and call for projects 2013 of the TIVIT Digital Services Program.

The target of the workshop is to identify new partners for continuing projects as well as build consortia and proposals for new projects. Program projects should ideally leverage the capabilities of multiple companies or research institutes and be 200-500k€ in volume. The program is expecting to be able to start a significant number of new project proposals.

The Workshops will be held as follows;
- Tampere University (Pinni B, B1097) 22.8.2012, 12:00-16:00
- Espoo, Nokia House (Keilalahdentie 2) 23.8.2012, 12:00-16:00

The deadline for registration is 16.8.


The Call for proposals:

Tekes funded national SHOK program TIVIT-Digital Services, call for proposals, 2nd year projects.

TIVIT is the ICT industry collaborative program funding instrument of TEKES. TIVIT runs collaborative industry programs with a 50-60M€ budget annually. TIVIT Digital services program volume is ~6M€ in 2012 and we expect it to be about ~12M€ in 2013.

Currently under development is the plan for the second year of the TIVIT Digital Services program. The Programs focus areas are SME services, Financial ICT services, Educational ICT services and ICT services for Wellness. We are calling for new project proposals for the program as well as plans for continuation of currently running projects.

Projects should ideally leverage the capabilities of multiple companies or research institutes to facilitate the collaborative nature of the Program. 20-30 projects will be selected for the program in the later part of September. Selected projects have access to TEKES funding for 35%-70% of project costs depending on the type of the organizations involved. The Funding application for the program is submitted together with 1st phase reporting in at the end of October. Work on new projects can start beginning 2013.

Typical project plans are 2-3 pages long with the following topics covered
1. Project Name
2. Description of work to be done
3. Description of key Business benefits and results transfers to business
4. Key Tasks
5. Key deliverables
6. Partner organization listing
7. Budget (by partner in € and person months)
